What loads, and when

First-party pages, fonts, and images are served from skeritual.com. They are not a third party.

Google Analytics 4 (Google), measurement ID G-4PZLQCTM8Z. The gtag.js loader and the config call are in the page head. GA4 can set the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_, both with a two-year lifetime, and it receives your IP address, the page URL, the referrer, and device information. Purpose: count visits and page views so the editorial desk knows which guides are used. The default is on, with analytics_storage granted; pressing Reject turns that signal to denied and removes the gtag.js loader, so later page views send no GA4 request. You can also block it with your browser or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google’s policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Microsoft Clarity, project z2m93u4a58. The loader creates the clarity.ms tag on first paint. Clarity can set _clck (about one year), _clsk (about one day), MUID (about 13 months), ANONCHK, CLID, SM, MR, and MSF, and it records session replays and heatmaps. Form inputs and other sensitive fields are masked by Clarity’s default settings. Purpose: see where readers get stuck. Pressing Reject calls Clarity’s consent API with false and stops the recording. Adsterra, publisher 3403020, website 6146542. Two units load by default: NativeBanner_1 (31895965) in the content area and SocialBar_1 (31895966), the fixed bar at the bottom. Both scripts come from bicea.org. Adsterra and its demand partners can set cookies and localStorage entries on their own domains for frequency capping, fraud prevention, attribution, and personalised advertising; the exact names are controlled by Adsterra and can change, so this policy names the categories rather than promising a fixed list. Purpose: show the ads that fund the guides. The default is on; pressing Reject stops the two units and is remembered for 180 days. Adsterra’s policy is at https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/. You can opt out of personalised advertising at https://adssettings.google.com/, https://optout.aboutads.info/, or https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/.

YouTube (Google). The trailer is a click-to-play facade. When you press “Watch the trailer”, the page creates an iframe to https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/MEKvfu92i6Q. That host can set cookies such as VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE and YSC, and it receives your IP address and the page URL. Purpose: play the official Wales Interactive launch trailer. Playback is requested by your click. The iframe is not in the first paint. Google’s policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Observed default request hosts include www.googletagmanager.com and www.google-analytics.com (Google Analytics), www.clarity.ms, scripts.clarity.ms and regional collection hosts under clarity.ms (Microsoft Clarity), and bicea.org (the two Adsterra units). Those providers may make additional requests through their own services. No other provider is directly integrated by this site. There is no Google AdSense, popunder, or smartlink integration. YouTube, googlevideo.com and ytimg.com may be contacted only after you request playback.

Storage on your device

localStorage key sker_consent_v1 stores JSON with choice ("granted" or "denied") and ts (the time you chose). Lifetime: 180 days, then the key is ignored and removed. Purpose: remember whether advertising and similar tools should stay on. The initial granted record is an automatic site default, not proof of explicit consent. A denied record is saved if you press Reject or the browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.

localStorage key sker_socialbar_closed_v1 stores JSON with closed (true) and ts when you close the fixed Social Bar. Lifetime: 180 days. Purpose: keep the bar closed across reloads and visits instead of bringing it back on the next page.

If navigator.globalPrivacyControl is true, or navigator.doNotTrack is "1", we store denied and do not treat the visit as an ad or recording opt-in. Reject turns ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage to denied and stops GA4, Clarity and both Adsterra units. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner. Clearing site data deletes both local keys immediately.

Your choices

Advertising, Clarity, GA4, and the click-to-play trailer are described above. The first visit starts with advertising and measurement on: this initial enabled state is not an explicit user opt-in. The banner is a notice and a withdrawal control, not a prior-consent gate. Reject stops advertising, GA4 and Clarity and is stored for 180 days from your selection, without extending that period on every page view. Accept keeps them on and stores your selection for the same period. Requests made before withdrawal have already reached those providers.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are treated as Reject. You can change the choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. You can also clear site data for skeritual.com, which removes both local keys. For personalised advertising, use the Google, DAA, or EDAA links above; those choices apply to the ad systems, not to this site’s consent record.

Rights, children, and changes

You can access, correct, or delete the contact mail you send us, and you can object to how we handle it. You can also complain to a supervisory authority where you live. We do not run accounts, and we do not sell personal information. The consent record lives in your browser. Email [email protected] and name the right you want to use. We reply to that address.

The site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If a sentence in this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and the same date is the article modified time. Older guides keep their own verified dates for game facts. This policy’s date is only about the policy.
