What you are not buying
There is no Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 listing in the Nintendo eShop search we ran, and Game Pass / PS Plus comparison pages still mark the game as not included. This does not mean online multiplayer needs no subscription: the PlayStation listing requires PS Plus for online play. A demo exists on Steam, PS5, PS4, and Xbox. The PS5 Cursed Edition physical re-release is announced for the US and Canada in early December 2026 at a US price of $29.99.
- Do not pay a random “download” site. The game is a normal store build.
- Maps are not sold as map packs. Paid add-ons on Steam are cosmetic packs plus an Inferno upgrade bundle.
- Nightmare Edition is a product name. Nightmare is also a difficulty. They are not the same thing.
