Is Sker Ritual free on Epic?

Last verified: 2026-10-24

Yes, during the current promotion. Epic’s official US promotions API lists Sker Ritual at $0 from 22 October 2026 at 15:00 UTC until 29 October 2026 at 15:00 UTC (11:00 EDT / 08:00 PDT / 23:00 China time). This is a claim window, not a permanently free-to-play price. Complete the order and check that the game appears in your account library; simply downloading the launcher does not claim it.

How to claim it

Open the official Epic product page and confirm that checkout shows $0 before the deadline. The promotions API verifies the offer dates and price, not account-specific checkout requirements. Enable two-factor authentication if checkout asks for it; it is also a useful account-security precaution. The help page returned HTTP 403 during this audit, so a universal 2FA requirement was not verified.

Sign in to an Epic account; enable 2FA if checkout requires it.
Open Free Games and select Sker Ritual.
Place the order at $0 and confirm it in your library.
Install through the Epic Games Launcher when you want to play.

What “free” does not mean

The claim is the PC Epic product titled Sker Ritual; the API does not establish that it includes the four Nightmare cosmetic packs. Console players still buy their own platform version. The Epic API lists an original US price of $24.99, but that is not a guarantee of the checkout price after 29 October. Steam and PlayStation currently list Nightmare at $19.99, discounted to $6.79 (66% off) through 5 November. Xbox shows $6.59 (67% off); its end time was not independently established. No next giveaway was verified.

Questions people ask

Do I keep Sker Ritual after the Epic giveaway ends?

A completed free-game claim adds an account entitlement rather than a timed free weekend. Confirm the game in your library and retain the order receipt. The current promotions API verifies the claim window; its response does not set out the full account-licence terms.

What time does the giveaway end?

29 October 2026 at 11:00 EDT, which is 15:00 UTC. That is 23:00 in China, but the store clock is the US Eastern one.

Is Sker Ritual free on Steam too?

No. On 24 October 2026 Steam’s US price was $6.79, down from $19.99, through 5 November.
