How Sker Ritual connects to Maid of Sker

Last verified: 2026-10-24

Maid of Sker (2020) follows Thomas Evans to the Sker Hotel after a letter from his fiancée Elisabeth. The Quiet Ones there are blind and hunt by sound. The Siren’s song is the threat, and the ending branches on whether Thomas hands cylinders to Elisabeth. Vice’s account of the evil ending is the one where he trusts her and she takes control of that song. Sker Ritual uses that branch. Wales Interactive’s own roadmap said the FPS was not a substitute for a Maid of Sker 2.

What you can skip

Maid of Sker supplies story context, not a prerequisite save for the Sker Ritual quest routes. The connection between Elisabeth, Thomas and Arianwen is the useful background. This page stops before a full retelling of the 2020 branches; the evil-ending connection follows the cited coverage, not a publisher-authored transcript.

The next game is a third shape

Sker: The Bleeding Veil, announced for 2027, is another story in the same Siren myth and another genre again: solo stealth, no combat, 1924. It is a separately announced title; this page does not turn that announcement into a promise of a direct sequel. Three games, three verbs. Do not buy one expecting the other’s loop.

Questions people ask

Is Sker Ritual Maid of Sker 2?

No. The roadmap said it was not a replacement for that sequel, and there is no standalone story mode.

Which ending does it follow?

The evil ending, in which Elisabeth controls the Siren’s song. That is the branch Vice and the store framing point at.

Who is Arianwen?

Elisabeth and Thomas’s daughter, and the voice opposing Elisabeth in the 1914 story.
