Cannon, three swords, then the X

Interact with the old beach cannon. Search the marked pickup locations on Providence and Hunter. Community accounts disagree about the ship assignment; follow the current objective marker rather than assuming the two items necessarily swap ships. The Steam guide puts both on Providence; the community wiki assigns the cannonball to Providence and the fuse to Hunter. That conflict is unresolved by the official announcement. Charge the cannon by killing in the ring, fire, and open the cave. Bronze, silver, and gold swords can be done in any order.

• Bronze: kraken door, red vents, the hive tunnel whose orbs spawn the crab and the hanging key.
• Silver: three cranks from red-X crates on Hunter, a kill ring at each, then escort the crab home.
• Gold: chain the lightning rods until they turn blue, flip six breakers in the order beside the sword, kill in that ring.

Read and enter the beach door code

After placing the bronze, silver and gold swords, complete the timed lever route. Start at the boss door, continue over Providence and finish down Hunter as the community route suggests. Take the Golden Cannonball to the small golden cannon on the plank between the ships and fire it.

Interact with the burned X on the beach and defeat the Lord of the Squids. Then face the cave and read the symbols on the X in that orientation. Enter the same arrangement at the stone door; a rotated reading can produce the wrong combination. This opens the Y Cracen encounter. The X is a per-match clue, not a fixed numeric password.

Y Cracen

Place the swords, pull the timed levers starting at the boss door, take the golden cannonball to the small cannon on the plank between the ships, and read the burned X. The fight that spawns is Lord of the Squids, who uses Abraham’s hook. Then enter the symbols. Y Cracen uses bubbles, tentacle slams, and side squid lords. Stay off the water line. Maelstrom’s locks are inside the Super Charger room; the mud pile that hides the key spawns crabs. Pirate Crown wants the main quest, the music egg, and the hidden objective on Nightmare. The hidden objective’s goat spots rotate.

Maelstrom, hidden story and Pirate Crown

For Maelstrom, enter the Super Charger room, turn around and shoot the locks on both sides. Dig at the marked mud pile for the key while handling the crabs, then unlock the weapon on Providence near Elixir of Life. The community table records a 2,500-point purchase.

After the main boss, use the spawn green portal for the hidden story. Find three goats among the candidate sites: above Difficulty Changer, rocks behind the beach Abomination spawner, Bronze Sword room, beside Fast Hands, the cliff above Hunter, and behind Providence’s Elixir area.

During lightning, read the deity marks on the rocks and shoot the matching marks and the book symbols by the compass. Complete the compass-corner puzzle using those clues; if the buoy stage is present, read its three symbols left to right. Do not substitute a universal sequence.

Shoot the five blue orbs at the Providence mast, rocks above spawn, Hunter mast, cliff and above the Difficulty Sword. Survive the blue-gas encounter with Canwyll Corph, Squid King and two Abominations. Escort the blue crab around the map back to spawn and finish the second Kraken fight.

The official Pirate Crown requirement is main quest, music Easter egg and hidden Easter egg on Nightmare. The Tides music route is a separate sequence. This page does not claim every doll or lore-note position.
